‘Smallville’s super-sexy spellcaster is now a ‘Supernatural‘ newscaster.

Serinda Swan, who twice has stopped by ‘Smallville’ (as that saucy sorceress, Zatanna), now is set to work her magic on The CW’s ‘Supernatural,’ Fancast has learned exclusively.

In the coming season’s fourth episode, titled “You Can’t Handle The Truth,” Swan will guest-star as a news reporter chronicling an unsettling series of suicides. As Dean and Sam delve into the maudlin mystery, they determine that each victim had been exposed to a brutal truth that quite literally drove them crazy.

Swan’s character, I am told, may turn out to be in possession of information that could shed light on the brothers’ investigation, just as one of Winchesters is forced to comes to terms with a hard truth of his own – one that could send his sibling reeling!

Ask Ausiello Spoiler (update)!

Question: Any new stuff on Supernatural? —Christy

Ausiello: As you may or may not have heard, a late winter episode will obliterate the fourth wall by transporting Sam and Dean to an alt-uni where they are actors named Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki starring in a cult TV show called Supernatural. Wait, it gets wink-winkier: In this other dimension, Sam/Jared has a wife — and it’s none other than Padalecki’s real-life bride (and former ‘Supe costar) Genevieve Cortese!

EW has learned exclusively that James Patrick Stewart, who CW frequents know as Naomi’s dad on 90210, will be appearing in the seventh episode of Supernatural this season as a new baddie named Richard Roman. Showrunner Sera Gamble explains: “Richard is a very canny, charming, well-connected new adversary. When we first meet him, Crowley has sought him out specifically to join forces with him to pursue common interests. Put it this way: Crowley doesn’t bring a muffin basket to just anyone.”
Stewart, whose other credits include All My Children and CSI, is set to appear in one episode so far. Supernatural season 7 premieres Sept. 23. Check out a promo for the new season premiere below:

'Supernatural': Kevin McNally as Season 7's new computer genius

When "Supernatural" bros Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) need help on a hunt, they generally enlist Bobby's services -- but there are some things Bobby just doesn't understand.

In the sixth episode of Season 7 (tentatively titled "Slash Fiction"), the boys get some help on a hunt from Frank Devereaux, described as a "mad computer genius." Zap2it has confirmed that Kevin McNally will play the old "friend" of Bobby's, who helps the Winchesters out of a jam.

McNally's impressive acting resume spans over 30 years. He's best known for his work as Joshamee Gibbs in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.

For right now, Frank is only set to appear in one episode, but as part of the hunters' network, there's always a possibility for a return. Hopefully, Frank fares better than the last genius who got caught in the Winchester web -- may Ash (Chad Lindberg) rest in peace.

The episode will also feature recurring "Supernatural" character Sheriff Jody Mills, a friend of Bobby's played by Kim Rhodes.

Das Gesicht kennen wir doch oder? :D

Mir tut Dean jetzt schon leid. ^_^

@jesaku: Du hast recht, Dean hat in den Augen von Sera Gamble immer noch nicht genug gelitten. ;)

'Supernatural' casting scoop: 'Road Trip's' D.J. Qualls gets on Dean's last nerve

Bild

In its seventh season, "Supernatural" is going all-out when it comes to the guest stars who keep the story colorful, and this bit of casting scoop is no exception.

Zap2it has exclusively learned that D.J. Qualls -- best known for his memorable role as nerdy virgin Kyle in the comedy classic "Road Trip" -- will intercept the Winchesters in the season's 8th episode, tentatively titled "Time for a Wedding."

Qualls plays Garth, a quirky, laid-back hunter who Dean (Jensen Ackles) clashes with right off the bat.

Let's just say that Dean definitely wouldn't be working with him if Garth wasn't the only hunter available, and if it wasn't a dire emergency. Hijinks ensue, we're sure!

Though he'll forever be Kyle to us, Qualls is no stranger to television audiences -- most recently, he starred on TNT's "Memphis Beat" as Officer Davey Sutton.

Diesmal hab ich auf den teuflischen Spoiler geachtet. ;)

Jason Dohring is making his way around The CW.

The Veronica Mars vet has landed a plum guest spot on Supernatural, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Spoiler
Dohring will play Chronos, the God of Time
, in this season’s 12th episode, slated to air in mid-January. The Greek deity is usually depicted as a old man with a beard, so we’re guessing the show is going in a very different direction here.
