Inhalt
AS THE FACE-OFF BETWEEN THE SURVIVORS AND FREIGHTER PEOPLE CONTINUES, THE OCEANIC SIX FIND THEMSELVES CLOSER TO RESCUE, ON THE TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF “LOST,” MAY 29 ON ABC
“There’s No Place Like Home,” Parts 2 & 3 – The face-off between the survivors and the freighter people continues, and the Oceanic Six find themselves closer to rescue, on the two-hour Season Finale of “Lost,” THURSDAY, MAY 29 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
-----------------------------------------------
So und jetzt zum interessanten Teil: in einem Interview mit TV Guide sagten Darlton, welche Episoden man sich vielleicht nochmal ins Gedächtnis rufen sollte, wenn man das Finale in vollen Zügen genießen (und verstehen) will:
#1.01 Pilot
Cuse: “Where it all began. It sets up the premise of how these people got onto the island. In the finale, we’re dealing with how the Oceanic 6 got off the island.”
#1.05 White Rabbit
Lindelof: “That was the birth of the conversation about faith versus reason. As Jack is chasing the ghost of his father, he happens upon Locke. Jack confides that he can’t possibly be seeing what he thinks he’s seeing and Locke says, ‘But what if you were?’ In the [5/29] finale, there’s an incredibly powerful scene between them that began way back in ‘White Rabbit.’”
#2.23 Live Together, Die Alone
Cuse: “The origin of the audience’s understanding of the island’s strange properties. The stated goal in the [5/8] episode was: We have to move the island. We’ve seen devices capable of doing strange and wacky things, like crashing an airplane. So maybe it is possible to move it.”
#3.22 / #3.23 Through The Looking Glass
Lindelof: “The episode that introduced the flash-forwards. Re-watch Jack’s flash-forward now, knowing everything you learned this season – it’d be good to have that information under your belt when this finale starts. Because this finale just might start where that one ended.”
#4.09 The Shape of Things to Come
Cuse: “We find our castaways trying to defend the very island that they’re trying to escape. And it gives you a sense that the freighter is bearing a group of very bad guys whose express mission is to kill everybody. You’ll see where that leads in this year’s finale.”
