Anna Paquin to Star in “Black Wings Has My Angel”

According to Screen Daily, Cargo Entertainment has taken on Black Wings Has My Angel, set to star Anna Paquin, Tom Hiddleston and Elijah Wood.

The story is about an escaped convict and high-class call girl whose lives are changed by an armored car heist. The shoot will start in September for producers Christopher Peditto, Anthony Moody and Wood.

Anna Paquin, Cat Deeley, and Scott Porter are dressed to the nines for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation’s 33rd Annual College Television Awards on Saturday (March 31) at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, Calif.

The ceremony was held to award and honor the nation’s best student-produced work in video, digital and film production.

Winners were awarded cash prizes and received invitations to private mentoring brunches and panel discussions with industry professionals.

Other celebrity presenters included Sandra Oh of Grey’s Anatomy, New Girl‘s Lamorne Morris, and Dexter‘s Jennifer Carpenter.

On the new season of True Blood: “Things left off in a pretty serious place in regards to where Eric and I leave Bill having just turned into this creature of the blood with these monster fangs—and who the hell knows what that is? So obviously, that situation has to [play] out. And we have new cast members this year, and that’s always fun to have fresh blood, if you’ll pardon the pun. This season, the writers and I have been making a concerted effort to help Sookie grow up, become a little bit darker, more accepting of her fate, more self-knowing.”
