Stephen Moyer

Vor allem durch seine vielen Engagements in Fernsehserien und Filmen sammelte der in Brentwood, Essex, England geborene Stephen Emery Moyer schauspielerische Erfahrungen.

So interessierte sich der 1971 geborene Moyer schon in jungen Jahren für die Schauspielerei und übernahm Rollen in einem Theater in seinem Geburtsort Brentwood und danach auch in Essex, wo er sich einen Namen mit seiner selbstgegründeten Theatertruppe "The Reject Society" machte. Er tourte zwei Jahre mit der RSC, wobei er unter anderem in "Romeo & Juliet" und "The Thebans" spielte. Mit der Oxford Stage tourte er durch Großbrittannien in der Rolle des Romeo. Davor besuchte er die St. Martins School in Hutton und war Absolvent der London Academy in Musik und Darstellende Kunst.

But these American talk shows really don’t do right by their guests, a 2 minute interview? They should take an example at European talk shows.

The 41-year-old True Blood actor recently talked about his thoughts on the vampire craze.

“It doesn’t seem to be abating. It’s one of those unanswerable questions because when you think it’s one thing, it turns out to be another. … I think in the teen world, there’s a beautiful romance about that stuff,” Stephen told the L.A. Times.

“I believe this year the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart characters [in the Twilight saga] have a baby. It’s this perfect romance, this perfect ideal. Ours isn’t quite as fluffy as that … our characters and the way that Alan [Ball] works is, as soon as a character has a semblance of happiness, he digs a hole for them to drive into,” he added.
