The 32-year-old actor was honored as The Vampire Diaries‘ beyond-smoldering scene-stealer at the show.

Echt? DIe sind zusammen? Les seit längerem nicht mehr so viele Boulevard-Zeitungen von daher hatte ich jetzt noch nicht so viel davon erfahren. Mir hat nur mal jemand gesagt, dass die beiden angeblich zusammen sind, aber richtig hab ich des nicht geglaubt, weil ich noch dachte, dass er noch ne andere Freundin (war das so ne Dokumentarfilmerin oder vertu ich mich da?) hat.

Ian Somerhalder leaves Hudson Bar on Friday (May 20) in New York City.

Earlier in the week, the 32-year-old Vampire Diaries star attended the CW Upfront with co-star and girlfriend Nina Dobrev.

The two also celebrated World Ocean Day 2011 at a La Mer and Oceana-hosted event at Affirmation Arts.

“Packing for Paris- has a good ring to it… Thank you to the network, studio, affiliates, advertisers & TVD fans. NY was crazy 72 hrs ,” Ian wrote on his Twitter page.

“Beautiful day in Paris,” he added the next day after landing in France.

Ian Somerhalder makes his way through Reagan National Airport on Thursday (July 28) in Washington, D.C.

The 32-year-old Vampire Diaries actor was on his way to Capitol Hill to testify before Congress to help save Leatherback turtles.

“Looking around the world at these wildlife, it’s abundantly clear that humans have benefited from nature in so many ways but have also brought many species to the brink of extinction,” Ian said in his testimony.

Ian Somerhalder smooches Uggie the dog (from The Artist) on the red carpet of the 26th Genesis Awards on Saturday (March 24) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 33-year-old actor and animal activist was presented with the Wyler Award. Ian tweeted a picture of his award with the caption, “Sleeping next to me tonight…”

The Genesis Awards recognize celebrities who raise public awareness about animal issues. The awards ceremony is put on by the Humane Society of the United States.
