bright über eprhams sprüche:
heute z.b. da konnte er den wagen nicht richtig anfahren und die anderen meinten "Was hast du denn eingelegt?" und er antwortete einfach "was ich eingelegt habe? ne pause." :D

und jetzt noch ein schönes
amy: timing is not our strongest thing.
ephram: yeah, exactly. but...but now!
amy: now what?
ephram: You're it. you're the one i want to be with. there's no questioning it. there's no holding it back. there's no over analyzing. it just...it just is.

& gute Idee!

EPHRAM: Let me get it. So. What about you? You got a secret admirer back at boarding school or something?
LAYNIE: No. Saint Margaret's is actually an all-girls and I'm not a lesbian... yet.
EPHRAM: So what is it?
LAYNIE: Supplies from the outside world. Just a band-aid measure until I can get out of here and ship quaint reminders in and think nostalgically of my wasted youth when I was bored off my ass in Everwood.
EPHRAM: I've finally found someone who hates it here as much as I do.
LAYNIE: As much? More!
EPHRAM: Not possible.
LAYNIE: OK, I challenge you. "I hate Everwood" contest. I'll go first. I hate the fact that the egg rolls at Gino Chang's smell like lasagna.
EPHRAM: I hate that everything's a "fest". Thaw Fest, Fly Fest, Pie Fest, w-what does that even mean? And what's so festive about catching some fish or watching some guy melt?
LAYNIE: I hate the fact that they call it Main Street, even though it's pretty much the only one. Why don't they just call it street?
EPHRAM: Do you have a subway map of another city covering one of the walls of your room?
LAYNIE: Do you choose colleges based on how far away they are from here?
EPHRAM: Have you ever have a dream that you were trapped underground in a sewer for life and woken up disappointed that you were still in Everwood?
LAYNIE: Do you have a packed bag and a plane ticket in your room?
EPHRAM: Come on.
LAYNIE: You don't believe me? I'll show you.
EPHRAM: Oh, I believe you. I've kept the bag around for a while. I just haven't brought a ticket yet.
LAYNIE: What happened?
EPHRAM: I promised my dad I'd stay.
LAYNIE: That's how you get stuck in places like this. There's always somebody who needs you.

Amy und die Schultherapeutin reden über Amys "Wettschwimmen-Traum"; 2.05 Daddy's Little Girl

DR. LENCE: And you've had this dream before.
AMY: A few times. Look, this is so stupid. It's not like dreams actually mean anything anyways except that you shouldn't eat pizza after ten.
DR. LENCE: What about the other part? Everyone's passing you, you can't keep up?
AMY: Look, it's not a matter of how I feel. It's a fact. Everyone is doing better than I am, and there's nothing I can do about it. So why dwell on it? I mean, if I were physically capable of making myself feel better, wouldn't I do that? It's not like I enjoy being miserable.
DR. LENCE: Are you sure about that?

[He turns back around.]
AMY: (CONT'D) You left me. You left me alone. And now, you're here and I'm here and you shouldn't be here.
COLIN: Neither should you.
AMY: I loved you. I loved you. I want you to come back...
[Amy holds Colin's hand but Colin drops it.]
COLIN: Stop following me. Just stop.
AMY: Why are you being mean?
COLIN: I want you to leave me alone. Don't you understand? I want you to go.
AMY: Go where? Where am I supposed to go? I failed school, Colin. I failed my brother, I failed my parents, I failed you. Where do you want me to go? I don't even know where to start.
COLIN: You start by saying good-bye.
[Amy's in tears.]
AMY: No, no. I can't.
COLIN: Yes, you can.
[Amy breathes.]
AMY: Goodbye.
[Colin turns to leave.]
AMY: Goodbye.

DR. BROWN: You are the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. You gave me my life back.
DR. L. ABBOTT: You already had a life.
DR. BROWN: No. NO. You-you gave me living back. I was just surviving and-and then I met you and now I wake up every morning wondering if I made the wrong choice.
DR. L. ABBOTT: Well, it’s a good thing there’s two of us then, ‘cause I know you made the right one.
DR. BROWN: Maybe, you should.
DR. L. ABBOTT: Sshh.
DR. BROWN: Stay safe, all right? Stay healthy.
DR. L. ABBOTT: Yeah.
[They hug. Dr. Brown kisses Dr. L. Abbott on the cheek.]
DR. L. ABBOTT: Okay, now please go, ‘cause if you stay and watch me leave, I’ll fall apart.

EPHRAM: "Mom would have never had done this to us! She never would've moved us here and gone crazy!"

ANDY: "Don't be so sure of that!"

EPHRAM: "I am sure! All right, I knew her. You didn't know her. We all just tolerated you!"

ANDY: "Hey, that's pretty good, what else you got?!

EPHRAM: "I wish you died instead of her!"

ANDY: "Well, I wish I did too you little brat!"

EPHRAM: "I hate you!"

ANDY: "Well, I hate you right back! Now get in that house!"

EPHRAM: "I'm going for a ride!" (He grabs his bike)

ANDY: "Oh, yeah?!"

EPHRAM: "Yeah!"

ANDY: "At some point you're getting in that house!"

-----------------------------
COLIN: Amy, I love you.

AMY: You're such a jerk.

Schön und traurig, bedenkt man, was bevorsteht...

------------------------------

ANDY: Letting go is not the same thing as forgetting...it's not even close.

Und:

ANDY: So, you wanna do the honors?

EPHRAM: You're asking me to throw a dead guy's frozen spunk into a canyon... Cool.

-------------------------------

BRENDA: Fridge, closet, bathroom.

[Bright comes out of the bathroom looking tired and frustrated.]

BRIGHT: Uh, so, am I just like crazy or does this look a lot like the last place you showed me?

BRENDA: Which one? I’ve shown you 9 so far.

BRIGHT: I’m trying to keep my options open. I wanna sample the milk before I buy the cow.

[Ephram walks towards Brenda and Bright in the kitchen from looking in the bathroom.]

EPHRAM: Uh, technically, you’d be renting the cow.

[Brenda’s cell phone rigs.]

BRENDA: Aah, ooh, excuse me, boys. Perhaps this is someone who will actually pay me for my services. (opening up cell phone) Brenda Baxworth… Oh, fine.

BRIGHT: So what do you think, man? I can’t even tell any more.

EPHRAM: Uh, it’s all right. I mean, it doesn’t smell like hot dogs. That other place…

BRIGHT: I know. Above a wienerschnitzel. What are you gonna do? You sure you don’t want to be my roommate, man. Two bedrooms is way bigger, hellva lot cheaper. Could be kind of stylin’?

EPHRAM: I can’t. I got the money together for Europe.

BRIGHT: Wow, that was pretty fast. What’d you do? Sell your soul?

EPHRAM: Yeah, it was, uh, actually easier than I thought. (looking in fridge) So, uh, you think this place has central air?

BRIGHT: I don’t know. Is that important? Oh, damn, Hannah had this whole list of questions, I’m suppose to ask about this place and I lost it. Now I don’t remember any of that crap.

EPHRAM: So call her.

BRIGHT: I can’t. She’s mad at me.

EPHRAM: Oh, yeah, what did you do this time?

BRIGHT: Oh, nothing. She thinks I insulted her.

EPHRAM: Did you?

BRIGHT: Well, uh, not intentionally. I… I said something about her dress and then she got all girlie.

EPHRAM: Oh, yeah, well, girls, they tend to do that. So why was she wearing a dress anyway?

BRIGHT: Oh, y’know, prom.

EPHRAM: Oh, right, ‘cause she’s got that boyfriend now.

BRIGHT: Oh, no, he’s not-he’s not her boyfriend.

EPHRAM: Well, they’re-they’re dating. I mean, he took her to prom and she wore a dress. What would you call him?

BRIGHT: Personally, I’d call him an ass hat.

EPHRAM: Wow, jealous of Topher Cole. I never thought I’d see the day.

BRIGHT: Oh, yeah. You got me. I’m jealous of Topher Cole.

EPHRAM: Okay, all right. Do you think these are-these are the original moldings?

BRIGHT: I mean, I should probably apologize to her right? ‘Cause I mean, uh, umm, right?

EPHRAM: Okay, I’m gonna go out on a limb and make an observation here. We’ve been standing in somebody else’s apartment for the last five minutes and you haven’t even checked the water faucet yet.

[Bright leans over and turns the water faucet on.]

EPHRAM: Instead, you’ve been obsessing over Hannah.

BRIGHT: Dude, I am not obsessing.

EPHRAM: No, I mean, I think it’s great. I think you guys would make a really really cute couple.

[Bright gets off the counter.]

BRIGHT (laughing): Oh, yeah. What? Uh, huh. Okay.

EPHRAM: Oh, come on, you haven’t thought about it?

BRIGHT: Come on, bro, first of all, I don’t enjoy thinking, okay. Secondly, uh, uh, come on. (walking to the bathroom) I’m not into Hannah. She’s, y’know, I mean… She’s not my type. I mean, she’s cute, but… She’s not, like, y’know, I’d make out with you cute. (walking back toward Ephram in the kitchen) Y’know, and-and besides she’s my friend. So that, y’know, when I-when I have a friend that-that’s just how it is. Y’know, when it’s like that, so… Yeah. What? What? Hello, why are you smiling?

EPHRAM: You-You realize the last two things you said made no sense, right?

BRIGHT: Oh, go to Europe already. (hitting the top of a door frame) Original moldings.

------------------------------------

BRIGHT: Sure you don't need another blanket. I can still see your wrist.

Hach, ich liebe das :D .

Gut, ich hör dann erst mal auf. Sehr gutes Thema! :)

Ich finde die Idee super. Weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll :D

Hier ein paar Zitate aus 2.13 "Forget me not".

Ephram: [to their spanish teacher]
Estamos uh...mucho um...embarazada.
Amy: You just said 'We're very pregnant.'
Ephram: Well, I'll let you fix this.

Bright: Bro, you're killing me here man. All this talking, and caring, and writing cheesy love songs. Why don't you just hand her your testicles over now and get it over with?
Ephram: Are you really calling me a girl? Because you're the one that's actually fluffing your hair right now.
Bright: I have a wingding, okay? It happens.

Nina: You can shove that chicken where the sun don't shine, Andy.
Andy: Well now that is just uncalled for.

Amy: Dear Dad,

I'm sorry I forgot your birthday. It's not like me to do that. You probably think that's just how I am these days. That missing your birthday is just more proof that I've become a different person, someone who forgets her family for a boy or a fight or whatever it was that got between us. That's the thing – I don't even know any more. I know I've disappointed you more than you ever thought possible. I never thought it was possible either. And now I feel kinda stuck in this pattern of messing stuff up and I don't know how to fix it. I wish we could make everything like it used to be but I guess I'm old enough to know we can't. I know you won't believe me but I think about you everyday and no matter how bad things get or how far apart we may seem, you'll always be my dad and I'll always be your Amy.

EPHRAM: You're holding up the line.

AMY: Ephram. What are you doing here?

EPHRAM: I wanted a Twix.

AMY: You came a long way.

EPHRAM: Well, there's two in a pack. I, really only wanted one. I needed somebody to share it with.

Oder in 1.08 Amy zu Ephram:

AMY: You're the only person who's been here for me the whole time. You came to the hospital with me, you... helped convince your dad. The way I see it? The only miracle in my life right now is, the fact that your dad looked at a map, and of all of the places, he decided to move here.

COLIN: I don't know. I wish you had been this honest with me a month ago. See, when I got out of the hospital, I didn't know who you were. But I do now. And I really like you. The only problem is, you haven't been able to take your eyes off him all night.

EPHRAM: You cannot tell her. You cannot tell her.

LAYNIE: Why would I tell her? I'm not an idiot.

EPHRAM: Well, I, I didn't mean it like that. I just...

LAYNIE: I know what you meant.

[ephram kommt rein]
andy: hallo ephram, willst du dich zu uns setzen?
ephram: nein.
andy: ist alles okay?
ephram: nein.
andy: willst du mir sagen was passiert ist?
ephram: nein.

AMY: I bet you can't wait to get back to New York, can you?
EPHRAM: Yeah, a little. I-I miss it. Be cool to spend the summer there.
AMY: What do you miss about it.
EPHRAM: I don't know, there's just something about being there, you know, the unpredictableness of it all. You never know what can happen to you when you're in New York.
AMY: Yeah, but that's true in Everwood too?
EPHRAM: What was the last thing that shocked you in Everwood?
AMY: Well, you. I mean, when you came to Everwood with your purple hair last year, that was pretty shocking.
[Amy sits on the banister of the gazebo and Ephram follows and sits next to her.]
EPHRAM: So my hair is the most shocking thing that's happened to you in the last 16 years. That's pretty sad.
[They laugh.]
EPHRAM: You know to tell you the truth, meeting you wasn't that shocking.
AMY: Thanks, that's sweet.
EPHRAM: Nah, I mean, I-it's pretty standard that I'd move to a town like Everwood and meet a girl like you. It's even more standard that I'd totally fall for that girl and she wouldn't like me back.
AMY: I didn't always not like you back.
EPHRAM: Yeah, When did you like me?
AMY: [hesitating] Now, I like you now.
EPHRAM: What do you mean?
AMY: [nervous] I mean I like you Ephram. I like you as more than a friend. I have for awhile now, I just didn't know how to tell you or if I should tell you because of everything that's happened lately. I like you, Ephram.
EPHRAM: Wow.
[Ephram gets up and looks into Amy's eyes and leans in to kiss her.]
AMY: Wait.
[Ephram pulls back.]
EPHRAM: What?
AMY: Nothing. Never mind.
[Ephram leans in again and Amy pulls away.]
AMY: It's just you didn't seem surprised.
EPHRAM: What are you talking about?
AMY: Well, I just told you that I like you which is, umm, pretty big news I think. I mean, not in a full of myself kind of way, just generally speaking big stuff, you know, and umm, you just smiled and tried to kiss me. You didn't even do your whole mumbling thing that you always do.
EPHRAM: Yeah, I mean, I-I... You... I knew. I said wow.
AMY: I know but it was a weird "wow". Did you know? Was I that obvious?
EPHRAM: No, you weren't. No, I mean, I kind of had an idea, but I didn't. You weren't obvious at all. You didn't do anything embarrassing, don't worry.
AMY: I'm not worried.
EPHRAM: OK.
AMY: Well, how did you know?
EPHRAM: Well, why does it matter?
AMY: Because something's going on right now and I can tell and now I fell all weird, which is exactly the opposite of how I want to feel at this particular moment so if you could just be honest with me.
EPHRAM: Well, Bright told me, OK? God, talk about ruining a moment.
AMY: Bright told you.
EPHRAM: Yes, he told me the whole thing. He told how, you know, you-you were gonna tell me at prom and-and then-then you didn't and you know, it's no big deal.
AMY: I can't believe this.
[Amy takes off out of the gazebo across the park and Ephram follows her.]
EPHRAM: Wait. Where-Where are you going? What-What's the problem? Where are you?
AMY: Go away, Ephram. I'm serious.
EPHRAM: Wait, are-are you crying?
AMY: Ephram, go away.
EPHRAM: No, I can't. I'm not gonna go away. I don't understand what's going on? Why are you crying?
[Amy stops in front of a fountain in the park and Ephram stops with her.]
AMY: Do you know how hard that was for me – to lay my heart on the line like that?
EPHRAM: Yeah, I think I do.
AMY: Well, maybe it's easy for you but it's not for me. I don't really like feeling this vulnerable but I told you because I trusted you and this whole time, this whole night you've been lying to me.
EPHRAM: I wasn't lying to you. I wasn't sure if it was true or not.
AMY: Oh, please. If all you cared about was whether or not it was true, you could've just asked me. Instead, you created this completely false moment this whole night, just how much of it was a manipulation – dinner, after dinner? Were you faking being nervous at the audition too?
EPHRAM: That's not how it happened.
AMY: Maybe you don't see it, but that is exactly what happened tonight and I am completely humiliated.
EPHRAM: I wasn't trying to humiliate you. I was trying to get you to tell me how you feel, why is that so wrong? I've told you a thousand times.
AMY: You told me because you wanted to, not because I tricked you into it by being all calculated.
EPHRAM: Oh. How many times have you lied to me? With my dad, with Colin, all last year? You knew that I would do anything for you. You didn't even have to ask so you didn't. You would just bat your eyelashes and cry on my shoulder you played me. Well, tonight I played you.
AMY: You know, Ephram, I thought we were ready but we are so obviously not.
EPHRAM: What are you talking about? Ready for what?
AMY: Every time we get close to being something more than friends, this is what happens, we play these mind games. We hurt each other. It is horrible how we hurt each other, Ephram.
EPHRAM: All right, so we can start over. All right, we –we treat each other better this time.
[Amy shakes her head "no".]
EPRHAM: Why? Why? Why not?
AMY: Because I don't want to anymore. I don't want to do this with you. I just want to go home.
[Amy takes off across the park toward the car. Ephram turns and watches her walk away.] ;-(

E: "Wie doll?"
A: "Ich mag dich so richtig wirklich!"

E: "What do you mean?"
A: "I mean i like you Ephram!"

AMY: (CONT'D) I say we do it in the car.
EPHRAM: Wh..? At-At the point? I don't. No. No.
AMY: Eh, never mind. It's too cheesy. (pause) Omigod, it's perfect, my parents have this cabin. It's not too far away. There's a bed.
EPHRAM: A bed is a good start.
AMY: Okay, great, let's do that then. Perfect, I'll get you the directions and the keys.
EPHRAM: We-we can't go together?
AMY: Too suspicious. I'll tell my dad, I'm sleeping over at Hannah's. So Saturday night, 8 o'clock.
EPHRAM: For sex? 8. 9. 7:30.
AMY: Great, so you bring the condoms and I'll see if I can score some of my mom's fired chicken for after.

ich fand diese szene einfach genial. :)
