Nein, die haben sich kurz vor Beginn der 2. Staffel getrennt. Deswegen gab es auch so wenige Pacey/ Joey- Szenen in der Staffel. Und um das Ganze noch komplizierter zu machen, hat Miss Holmes danach noch mal James gedatet bevor er dann mit seiner jetzigen Frau und sie mit CK1 zusammenkam.

Paul Stupin sagt aber, dass James und Katie sich am Ende der 1. Staffel getrennt haben, d.h. zu dem Zeitpunkt, als sie das Finale drehen mussten.

Wann genau Josh und Katie zusammen waren, sagt er nicht, aber die beiden waren am Ende von S3 - laut Stupin - wieder getrennt, haben aber ihre Szenen sehr professionell gehandhabt, da sie Profis seien.

Übrigens, auf der Startseite ist ein Link zu Joshuas Umweltschutzposter. Sieht gut aus, da will ich gar nicht meckern (:D), aber wie kommt's? Das hat er vor so ca. 3,5 Jahren gemacht.

Jaja, bestreite ich gar nicht Miss Holmes hat erst - also in der 1. Staffel - James gedatet, dann haben die beiden sich getrennt - so kurz bevor sie das Staffelende gedreht haben -, dann hat sie Josh für'n Date gefragt, dann sind die beiden miteinander ausgegangen bis ca. August - also Anfang 2. Staffel - und dann hat Miss Holmes noch mal James gedatet. Puh! Naja kein Wunder, daß zwischen James und Josh manchmal Stunk war. Denn wenn Gerüchte stimmen, hatten Josh und Katie ein paar "relapses" während der 2. bis Anfang 3. Staffel. Ich glaube im Herbst 1999 hat sie dann angefangen, mit CK1 auszugehen.

Das haben Leute aus Wilmy und Statisten in den letzten Jahren, auch schon als die Serie noch lief, in englischsprachigen Foren gepostet. Und wenn ich mich recht erinnere, hat nicht nur James so etwas angedeutet, sondern Michelle auch. Die Schauspielerin, die Abby Morgan gespielt hat, hat in einer Talkshow während der 3.Staffel als sie irgendein Projekt promotete, gesagt, daß die DC- Besetzung eine "incestous group" wäre. Und ich erinnere mich, daß Michelle in einem Interview (Howard Stern?) sagte, sie hielte sich aus dem DC- Dating Pool heraus. Wäre besser so. Tja, das sagt alles, IMO

Ist ja ein Hin- und Her wie in der Serie.

Ich habe zwar grade gesehen, daß es ein Golden Globes Special auf der Homepage gibt. Allerdings denke ich, wenn ein Film eines ex- Creekers schon 7 Nominierungen bekommt, sollte es auch in diesem Thread stehen

Das würde mich wirklich sehr für sie freuen. Denn sie hat schon wirklich tolle Filme gedreht, die aber leider immer irgendwie in der Masse der großen Hollywood-Blockbuster untergegangen sind.

Kerr Smith ("Dawson's Creek") has joined the regular cast of NBC's freshman drama "E-Ring" reprising the role of Bobby Wilkerson, a gung-ho member of the Pentagon's Special Ops team whom Smith has played in three earlier episodes this Fall.

Smith will continue to portray Wilkerson, who is a close friend of JT (series star Benjamin Bratt) and carries out dangerous missions in secret foreign operations.

Gute Neuigkeiten für ihn.

*schlägt sich vor'n Kopf* Am Anfang meines Posts spreche noch von ihr und dann hätte ich sie doch fast vergessen zu erwähnen. In einer US- Zeitschrift - Jane - gibt es einen Artikel über Michelle:

It isn't just the recent TomKat weirdness that reminds me why I always loved Jen more than Joey back in my slavishly devoted Dawson's Creek-viewing days. This past year has been full of bright little moments that add up to a welcome comeback for the woman who brought bad-girl-turned-good-girl Jen to life, Michelle Williams, 25. First up was one of my favorite recent records, the Comas' Conductor, a gloriously cracked valentine to Michelle from her ex, singer/guitarist Andy Herod. Michelle's such a classy broad, she starred in the short film Andy made to accompany the album, even though they'd already broken up. Then there was the movie The Baxter, in which she played the kind of winsomely chic but still down-to-earth girl every urban guy wishes would fall in love with him. And I'm happy to report that Michelle is absolutely wonderful in Brokeback Mountain as a woman who finds out her husband is cheating on her with another man - but rather than confront him about it, she holds in her devastation for years. Watching a secret wear down her character from the inside out, you'll remember, "Oh yeah, Michelle's a great actor." No wonder co-star Heath Ledger fell for her in real life, too (by the time you read this, a baby Williams-Ledger will be bouncing around). And the fact that the couple chooses to make their home in the cozy Brooklyn, N.Y. neighborhood of Boerum Hill instead of Hollywood? Love.

Having grown up in the spotlight, as one of the stars on the WB’s memorable teen-drama "Dawson’s Creek", actress Michelle Williams is use to the incessant camera flash and the tacky tabloid headlines. It was a relief, she says, to discover the Australian media were a lot less bloodthirsty and obtrusive than Hollywood’s finest. CLINT MORRIS reports.

“Everyone has been so nice and respectful, and nobodies out for anything salacious”, the pretty blonde actress, in Australia to promote her latest film, says.

Unfortunately, the press here haven’t been treating husband Heath Ledger as good, she says.

Well, one local outlet in particular hasn’t been anyway.

“[This one newspaper]. They’re turning into like Who or OK [magazine]. They’ve been really tough on Heath, and he takes it personally. They’ve been tossing out this stuff about him being a spitter (reports say he had spat at journalists), and it’s just so mean, and it really hurts his feelings. He’s not that way at all. It’s not true. The only spitter in our house is Matilda”.

Yep, baby Matilda, Williams and Ledger’s beautiful new bub. Williams is really enjoying being a new mother – but says it’s exhausting.

Unfortunately, “Heath doesn’t have breasts” so he doesn’t get up at night as often as Michelle. “There’s only one person she wants”.

The actress met husband Ledger on the set of their latest film, Brokeback Mountain, in which she plays the wife of a man having a secret affair with another male. The film served as a bit of a trip back home for Williams, who had lived in Montana until she was “about 8 or 9”.

“Well, I didn’t really get to go back home per say – because the film was shot in Canada – but I did get to take a road trip through Montana and Wyoming. It was really special. I saw where my grandparents lived, before they died, and I also walked around the streets. It was a very strange, but stirring, homecoming”.

When Williams told her mother that the cast were being taught how to speak in an accent, her mother bit back “What accent?”. There is one though, says Williams, it’s just “slight, it’s not like a Southern drawl, or it’s not like Fargo or anything. There’s long A’s that you hit really hard – Heath hears it.”

"Brokeback Mountain" might seem like a departure for director Ang lee, who’s famous for his action-packed Crouching Tiger Hidden, Dragon, but Williams believes all his films have similar themes. “They touch on family and isolation, relationships…but it’s amazing what he can do. I mean, a film about two gay ranch hands in the rockies? Very far from where he grew up”.

Williams says Lee helped the cast perfect their characters significantly before filming began (“We laid down so much ground work before hand so that you feel comfortable”) and it really helped unleash a performance. Her character, Alma Del Mar, is a very baffled, very fraught woman. “She’s choking on all the things she can say”, she says.

Her character wasn’t the only one that events got to. Williams says both Heath and herself had difficultly coming down from some of the more emotional scenes in the film. “I remember, after doing that scene in the kitchen, we were having tea and a glass of wine, and we just had to talk. [But] Just to talk about what happened – really helps”.

Williams will next be seen in "The Hawk is Dying", with acclaimed actor Paul Giamatti. “That was wild, that Paul Giamatti is just a ferociously talented man – it’s frightening. He’s a force of nature. He’s so good, but you just can’t resent him for it”, she laughs. “It’s a wild story about this man whose deepest desire is to tame a wild hawk. I play a grad student that befriends him”.

Whatever happens after that, it’ll only be something that speaks to Williams, she explains. “Besides Dawson’s Creek, everything I’ve done has been for love”, the actress, whose other credits include "Prozac Nation" and "Imaginary Heroes", says. “There’s a little sign in this café that we go to that says ‘Work is Love Invisible’. That’s what I do. I do what I love”.

Mensch, da freut ihr euch erst so, dass Michelle für so viele Awards nominiert wurde, und dann schreibt hier keiner, dass sie jetzt für ihre Nebenrolle in Brokeback Mountain den Critic's Choice Award erhalten hat.
Des Weiteren wurde der Film auch als bester Film und mit bester Regie ausgezeichnet.
