Weiß nicht ob das hier schon mal jemand gepostet hat, aber Liza Weil(Paris) war heute bei Law&Order auf rtl2 zu sehen. Hab leider nur am Schluss eingeschaltet, aber da sah sie echt schlimm aus (wurde Verprügelt oder so was). Leider hat die Synchronstimme nicht gepasst, war viel zu weich und kindlich.

Hier ist ein neues Interview mit Lauren aus dem amerikanischen Magazin "Ladies' Home Journal" (03/2006)

Ladies' Home Journal: Do you and your character on Gilmore Girls have similar sences of humor?
Lauren: Lorelai talks fast and gets a kick out of everything. I'm funny in a different way. I grew up with a family that's very dry.
LHJ: Do you think it's surprising to see someone like Lorelai, a hip, romantically active mother, portrayed on tv?
LG: I guess some people would call it an untraditional setup. Someone asked if I was worried about playing a mom, but being a mom is fourth on my list of what Lorelai is. I was raised by my dad, so I don't have any preconceptions of what a mom is supposed to be.
LHJ: Have you ever done standup?
LG: When I started out, I used to work in comedy clubs. I was a waitress and did improv.
LHJ: Was that scary?
LG: Improv has an adrenaline level so it's like you're in a car crash for 23 hours a day.
LHJ: What's up next for you?
LG: I'm in a movie called Because I Said So with Diane Keaton, who is the funniest person of all time! And I've been doing Gilmore Girls for six seaosns now. I've never had a waitressing job that long.
LHJ: And you're not likely to have another one.
LG: You don't think so? Whenever I go out to eat, I think, "That's me in two years." But it definitely helps my tipping, so that's good.

Neue Serie für Milo: "Heroes"

Obwohl Milo Ventimiglias neue WB-Serie "The Bedford Diaries" in den USA noch nicht einmal angelaufen ist, hat er nun eine weitere Serienrolle angenommen, wie der Hollywood Reporter berichtet.

Die Serie trägt den Titel "Heroes" und handelt von Menschen, die ihre Superkräfte entdecken. Neben Milo konnten bereits Greg Grunberg ("Alias", "Felicity") und Ali Larter ("Varsity Blues") verpflichtet werden. "Heroes" wird produziert von NBC/NBC Uni TV. Das Drehbuch für den zweistündigen Pilotfilm stammt von Tim Kring (Erfinder von "Crossing Jordan"), Regie führen wird Dave Semel.

Milo Ventimiglia hatte zuletzt einen Gastauftritt in der 6. Staffel der "Gilmore Girls", und wird bereits im April erneut zu sehen sein.

"The Bedford Diaries" zeigt Milo in einer Hauptrolle und startet am 29. März auf The WB. Schon vor der Premiere wurde die Serie von 22 auf 13 Episoden gekürzt und ein möglicher Erfolg wird von Kritikern angezweifelt. Momentan ist es fraglich, ob die Serie vom neuen Network CW, ein Zusammenschluss von The WB und UPN ab Herbst 2006, übernommen wird und in eine zweite Staffel geht.

Milo ist nicht der einzige Ex-GG-Schauspieler, der bald in einer neuen Serie zu sehen ist. Emily Bergl , die in GG die Francine Jarvis gespielt hat, wird demnächst neben Anne Heche in der ABC-Serie «Men in Trees» zu sehen sein. Anne Heche spielt darin eine betrogene Ehefrau und Psychiaterin, die nach der Trennung von ihrem Mann nach Alaska auswandert. Beim Pilotfilm führt der «Walk the Line»-Regisseur James Mangold die Regie.

Lauren Graham leiht Dokumentarfilm ihre Stimme

Wie erst jetzt bekannt wurde, hat Lauren Graham dem amerikanischen Synchronfilm "Black Diamonds" ihre Stimme geliehen, der bereits in diesem Jahr in den USA veröffentlicht werden soll.

"Black Diamonds" (90 Min.) berichtet über den Kohleabbau in den Appalachen im Nordosten der USA und weist auf die Gefahren für die Umwelt hin. Der Film wirft vor allem der Regierung vor, zu wenig für den Schutz der Gebirge zu unternehmen, und kritische Pressestimmen zu dem Thema zu zensieren.

Catherine und Ann Pancake schrieben das Drehbuch, führten Regie und produzierten den Film. Nähere Infos gibt es auf www.blackdiamondsmovie.com

Da sitzen ein Mädchen und ein Junge auf Barhockern in einem Café, vor ihr liegt ein Stapel Uni-Notizen, sie sagt: „Ich fasse es nicht – du hast noch nie ,The Office’ gesehen?“ und weiter: „Sie ist brillant. Besonders beim vierten Mal Sehen.“

Das Mädchen heißt Rory Gilmore, sie ist eine der Hauptdarstellerinnen der Fernsehserie „Gilmore Girls“, aus der auch die beschriebene Szene stammt. Aber was Rory da über die britische Anti-Sitcom Serie „The Office“ sagt, das gilt auch für das Erfolgs-Geheimnis der „Gilmore Girls“. Die aktuelle, fünfte Staffel der Serie hat Vox vom Nachmittag in die beste Sendezeit, 20 Uhr 15, verlegt, und nun macht die Serie Marktanteile von durchschnittlich 13 Prozent. Gilmore Girls: Troubles
Fans sind sauer wegen 6. Staffel

Ungewohntes erwartete Fans der Gilmore-Girls in der neuen Staffel:

Mutter und Tochter streiten sich, rufen sich nur mehr selten an, oder brechen zeitweise den Kontakt völlig ab. Was wurde aus den vorher besten Freundinnen? Fans der Serie fanden diese Handlung gar nicht lustig – aber auch am Set war nicht alles in Ordnung. Lauren Graham, die Darstellerin von Lorelai, meinte, das wäre nicht ihre Lieblingsstaffel gewesen. Sie vermisste es, jeden Tag mit Rory-Darstellerin Alexis Bledel zusammenzuarbeiten. Außerdem fand sie es unglaubwürdig, dass ihr Charakter sich so verhalten würde.

Krise

Die Drehbuchautoren Amy Sherman-Palladino und Dan Palladino mussten sich von Graham viele Fragen gefallen lassen. Sie fanden allerdings, dass eine Krise notwendig war. Das Autorenpaar überlegt zudem, anderes in Angriff zu nehmen und die Serie zu verlassen – ein Jahr wird allerdings in jedem Fall weitergedreht, die nächste Staffel ist also sicher. Dann will sich auch Lauren Graham wieder anderen Projekten widmen – der Dreh von TV-Serien sei sehr anstrengend, sie habe vieles in ihrem Privatleben verpasst, so die Schauspielerin.

Hochzeit?

Inzwischen sind Rory und Lorelai zum Glück wieder versöhnt. Dafür läuft die Verlobung zwischen Lorelai und Luke nicht ganz glatt – eine Überraschung sorgt für einigen Aufruhr. 'Gilmore Girls' Feud Upset More Than Fans

This season's "Gilmore Girls" story line where the normally tight mother-and-daughter team of Lorelai and Rory feuded and gave each other the silent treatment caused some sharp arguments among the show's rabid fans.

Turns out there were some divisions on the set, too.

"It wasn't my favorite," admitted Lauren Graham, who plays mom Lorelai.

Lorelai and Rory have since made up; tears flowed. Their rapid-fire repartee is back, although usually by phone. Rory is in Yale now, and, in one busy episode this month, became editor of her school paper and moved in with her boyfriend.

The show's creators are clearly trying to push things and avoid the fatigue that usually afflicts television shows in their sixth season.

Long the WB's most critically acclaimed series, "Gilmore Girls" has quietly grown to become its second most popular after "7th Heaven." The show averages just under 5 million viewers a week, up from 4.1 million two seasons ago, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Last month's announcement that the WB and UPN will shut down to form a new network in the fall has left all of their programs in flux. But "Gilmore Girls" would seem to have earned the right to determine its own destiny and make the move to the new CW network.

The growth has come despite the widely objected-to story line.

Part of Graham's problems with the feud were personal; she missed working with co-star Alexis Bledel every day. Primarily she believed it didn't ring true to her character.

"I struggled with the idea that this character, being the parent, would go so far as to stop speaking to her daughter and not make more of an effort," said Graham, taking a break in her trailer on the Warner Bros. lot during a slow day of filming. "We had it in bits and pieces, but it was hard for me to justify that I wouldn't try harder, that I wouldn't reach out more, that I could stand to be away from her for that long."

She questioned co-creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino more this year than ever, "and I'm sure they enjoyed it not at all," Graham said.

Some critics took her side. Ted Cox of the Chicago Daily Herald said "it seemed suddenly as if the characters were being manipulated to create drama, rather than allowing the drama to flow naturally out of the characters."

The Palladinos concede that it's tough to come up with new stories for a long-running show without them seeming contrived. But in this case, they said it was important to do something that shakes Rory to her foundation a typical rite of passage for budding adults, who learn about themselves by how they respond.

"To really rock Rory's world, we had to go to what the core of the show was and to really have them have a rift and explore what the show would be," Sherman-Palladino said. "I know there are two camps. Personally, for me, I've loved the psychological implications of this year more than any other year because we've really gotten to do some real mother-daughter stories."

Think deeply about the characters, and the silence rings true, she said. Lorelai has spent her life trying to do everything differently from her own mother. And if it was Lorelai taking time off from Yale, her mother would have personally dragged her back to school.

While things are better now between Lorelai and Rory, it's not so for Lorelai and Luke, her diner-owner beau.

They're engaged after an agonizingly long courtship. But the sudden emergence of Luke's daughter from a previous relationship has thrown their marriage plans in doubt.

It's never simple, is it? Driving wedges between seemingly well-suited characters is another risk to an audience's patience. The Palladinos like the idea of exploring the difficulties in bringing together two strong personalities very set in their ways.

"It's very different if you get married at 29, than at 38," Sherman-Palladino said. "It's a very different world, and that's what we're trying to tap into."

The future of "Gilmore Girls" is a convoluted plot itself. The Palladinos say they're genuinely undecided about whether they will continue with the series after this season alarming news for fans of a series that, more than most, reflects the strong sensibilities of their creators.

One factor that may have driven them away a pilot for a new series, a romantic comedy, that would have been filmed in New York is no longer in the picture. It was scrapped with the WB's dissolution.

The Palladinos are making plans for a cliffhanger ending to this season (wedding? no wedding?) and for the show to run without them in the fall, just in case.

Graham said the signs point to one more season after this one; the production company is making sure to add another year for people who had six-year contracts. Graham said that's when she'd like to move on, citing the show's workload.

"Getting the language perfect requires a number of takes that you might not have on another show," she explained. "It's just a lot of work 13, 14 hours door to door. I've missed weddings, I've missed babies being born. I'm not complaining, because of what it has brought me, but I would be ready for a different balance."

She has a hard time imagining the Palladinos not involved, particularly if the series is coming to an end.

Television economics may also play a part in the decision. The WB is canceling "7th Heaven" because, after a decade on the air, the network's most popular show was losing money because it was so expensive to make.

"They've come to us before and asked point-blank how long we think the show can go," Sherman-Palladino said, "and we say it's a family show, it can go on forever. If `7th Heaven' could have gone on for 10 years, why couldn't this show go for 10 years? There's no reason. They're going to be hard-pressed to assemble a cast this good on television again."

Kommen dann alle Staffeln die bis jetzt gezeigt wurden oder nur nochmal die erste?

na ja ich nehm mal an, dass die neue Staffel noch nicht fertig synchronisiert wurde. Die is ja noch nicht mal komplett abgedreht bzw. gezeigt worden in den USA.

Und ob dann alle wiederholt werden, weiß ich zwar nicht, kann ich mir aber nicht vorstellen, da sie vermutlich die Einschaltquoten zur Prime Time mit den alten Folgen nicht halten werden können.

Aber wenn net lohnts sichs ja net, die erste Staffel wollte ich eh kaufen und die 2te kommt ja auch bald.

ich dachte die würden nur die 5.staffel nochmal wiederholen und dann im anschluß die 6.staffel bringen. ist doch irgendwie ein bisschen blöd von vox die erste staffel in der primetime zu bringen, die sowieso jetzt viele auf dvd haben. aber ich freu mich trotzdem, da ich jetzt auch bei den anderen folgen mal das "primetime-gefühl" bekomme.

was ich nur nicht verstehe ist, wann soll dann die 6. kommen? in 2 jahren? oder nach der 1.staffel, das wäre sch****!

Also, die 6. Staffel kommt definitiv erst im Herbst auf VOX.

Dass die nun die alten Folgen im Abendprogramm bringen, verstehe ich nicht, denn ich denke, dass das nicht die Quoten bringt, wie jetzt die 5. Staffel, die ja neu auf VOX ist. Es gibt ja sowas wie ne Übersättigung.

Nach der WH-Schleife am Nachmittag kommt wieder "Für alle Fälle Amy".

das die ab der 1.staffel wiederholen(also um 20:15 uhr) find ich auch nen bissel blöd- die erste staffel ist ja vor nicht soooo langer zeit schon einmal wiederholt worden...dann sollten die wirklich lieber die 5.staffel noch mal senden oder die 4., aber nicht die folgen zeigen, die jetzt schon wiederholt sind(also 1-3)
