ich bin total traurig! Habe eben diesen Artikel gelesen und gehe davon aus, dass es wirklich mit GG nicht weitergeht. Lest selber:

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - All 10-year-olds want to be grown up. So does The WB, as the youth-aimed network celebrates that milestone birthday this month. TV critics at their midseason press tour heard from programming chief David Janollari this weekend about plans for upcoming series "built around 20-something characters" to lure the upper end of the WB's target 18-to-34-year-old demographic. As network chairman Garth Ancier put it, "We don't want to be seen as this teenage network."

Yet, as Ancier bragged about "the incredibly lasting appeal of our series" over the past decade - not only on The WB but in repeats and on DVD - he was referencing shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Dawson's Creek" and "Smallville," which focus largely on teen characters. Recent attempts at young adult concepts such as fall's serial drama "The Mountain" have failed, and the network's current hits have been on the air for several seasons now, in the case of "Gilmore Girls," or nearly a decade, for "7th Heaven."

Finding "the next defining comedy for our network" is now the big push, says Janollari. Friday night stalwart "Reba" is in its fourth season, and only the year-old sketch show "Blue Collar TV" is a fresh success. Fran Drescher's sitcom "Living With Fran" arrives in April with some promise, tapping into both fans of her CBS hit "The Nanny" and younger viewers intrigued by her new show's focus on a hip 40-something woman living with a hot young contractor the same age as her med-school-dropout son. It's produced by loose cannon Jamie Kennedy, star of the cult WB prank show "JKX," who's now busy behind the camera.

Kennedy also was here cutting up with critics while discussing his March 8 series debut of "The Starlet," a Hollywood talent competition that's one of several "reality" projects touted by a network still proclaiming allegiance to scripted series. Veteran star Faye Dunaway joins Vivica A. Fox and casting director Joseph Middleton in fairly ruthless judgment of 10 young actresses living together while competing for a WB role. (Dunaway's dismissal line: "Don't call us, we'll call you.") Beyond "The Starlet," actor-producer Ashton Kutcher ("Punk'd") is developing "Beauty and the Geek," featuring what Janollari diplomatically calls "Mensa guys with attractive women who may not have the same capabilities." And "Blue Collar TV's" Bill Engvall is working on "Mobile Home Disasters," described by Janollari as " 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,' except in trailer parks."

The WB isn't giving up on scripted ratings laggards such as the critically acclaimed "Jack & Bobby" drama. "We're determined to make that show work," says Janollari. Last summer's Lori Laughlin family drama "Summerland" returns Feb. 28 with seven new episodes, and the network touted development deals with such production big guns as David E. Kelley ("Ally McBeal"), Tom Fontana ("Oz"), Jerry Bruckheimer ("CSI") and McG ("The O.C."). <<<------

Ich kann daraus allerdings nicht erkennen, wieso es mit GG vorbei sein sollte. Die werden nicht von heute auf morgen ihr Konzept umstellen.

Hallo Sandra,

ja, stimmt schon, aber es hört sich für mich so an, als wenn WB die Serien, die schon länger laufen, jetzt abschließen will und dafür lieber frische Serien bringen will, bzw. Serien fortsetzen will, die eben noch nicht so lange laufen, wie eben GG und 7th Heaven.

Sicherlich bin ich vielleicht ein bisschen paranoid, weil ich es einfach nicht verstehen könnte, wenn GG wirklich keine 6. Staffel bekommen sollte, aber als ich den Artikel gelesen hatte, dachte ich nur, oh nein, das war es dann wohl.

Ah, okay, ich werde mehr Geduld haben!

Ja, Du hast schon recht, aber ich bin einfach solange optimistisch, bis ich etwas anderes gehört habe. Es wäre für WB sehr, sehr riskant, jetzt die alten Zugpferde des Senders wie GG, Smallville, One Tree Hill (7th Heaven ist bestimmt weg vom Fenster...) allesamt abzusetzen und stattdessen nur noch neue Comedyserien zu zeigen. Die müssen sie auch erstmal bekommen, es soll zwar einiges Neues geben, aber nur mit neuen Serien wird der Sender sich nicht über Wasser halten können. Die können es sich einfach nicht leisten, auf ihre beliebten Serien zu verzichten - jedenfalls nicht von heute auf morgen.

Hallo Sandra!

Ich will hier mal Danke sagen für die tollen Bilder und Infos was du zu meiner Lieblingsserie immer hast. Es sind immer geniale Neuigkeiten dabei. Traurig würde es mich machen, wenn urplötzlich die Serie abgesetzt wird. Aber im Herbst kommt ja erstmal die 5. Staffel.

Bevor Ihr jetzt alle in Begeisterungsstürme ausbrecht: Kristin ist nicht unbedingt die verlässlichste Quelle. Wer ihre Chats kennt, weiß das. Ich persönlich denke, dass es einfach noch nicht feststeht, ob es eine 6. Staffel gibt, so hört es sich jedenfalls an. Als Bestätigung würde ich das also nicht nehmen, auch wenn sie sich das sicher nicht ausgedacht hat. Aber ein bisschen freuen dürfen wir uns zumindest schon.

``Gilmore Girls'' are good. ``Jack & Bobby'' –not so much.

Riding on the Luke-Lorelai romance and Rory's ``girl gone wild'' college career, the WB's best series has rebounded from last season's creative slump to become the network's top-rated show with its core audience, women 18-34.

Tonight's 100th episode (7 p.m. on Channel 11) is the first after a long string of repeats intended to stretch the season as long as possible. Meanwhile, Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson have been answering a lot of questions about their on-screen love affair, four years in the making.

People ask Patterson ``if we're dating in real life, and I tell them we are.'' (They aren't.) Graham comforts fans worried that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino will put obstacles in the couple's path. (``They can't just be `you're pretty' –`you're prettier' all the time,'' Graham says.) Sherman-Palladino's take on the romance: ``As long as we find interesting ways for them to be who they are, I think we can keep it going for as long as we want.''

As for Rory (Alexis Bledel), expect more college escapades. ``A kid like Rory, when she (messes) up, it should be huge,'' Sherman-Palladino says.

Despite flourishing movie careers for Graham and Bledel, ``Gilmore Girls'' will almost certainly return next season, WB bosses strongly suggest.

But the jury is very much out on ``Jack & Bobby,'' a favorite of viewers in St. Louis. ``We're determined to make the show work,'' WB Entertainment president David Janollari said in a Q&A session with the Television Critics Association. ``It's a giant favorite of the network's.''

Still, there's great concern that ``the audience that should be coming to it'' hasn't shown up, and a run of new episodes beginning this week will determine the drama's fate. ``It's going to run this entire season,'' Janollari said. ``I can't say that it's definitely coming back'' for fall.

When last seen, at a WB network 10th anniversary party populated largely by look-alike stars of ``One Tree Hill,'' ``Summerland'' and other teen dramas, Janollari was being quietly lobbied by ``Jack & Bobby'' headliner Christine Lahti. Couldn't hurt.

Allgemein am besten bei Luminary, dort gibt es tolle Fotos der Darsteller als auch aus der Serie in HQ. Allerdings dauert es immer ein paar Tage, bis sie die Fotos von den Events auf der Seite hat. Am schnellsten tauchen die Bilder bei Fanforum.com auf, im jeweiligen "Picture-Thread" im Lauren Graham- und Alexis Bledel-Board.

Ich weiß nicht genau, wie ein Babybauch sieht das für mich ehrlich gesagt nicht aus. Das Oberteil hängt am Bauch so komisch runter. Und auf den kleineren Bildern, durch die ja die Vermutung erst aufkam, scheint sie einfach nur im Hohlkreuz zu stehen.

Ich finde auch nicht das es wie ein baby bauch ausssieht und ich fände das auch echt schlimm weil sie dan bestimmt bei GG austeigen würde - obwohl ich mich schon für Lisa freuen würde aber für GG wäre es halt nicht so gut !!

Lauren sieht auf der Party ja mal wieder echt klasse aus und Alexis finde ich auch sehr hübsch auf den Bildern !!

Scott verwirrt mich langsam...jetzt ist er also doch noch mit seinem "Teenie" zusammen ?!?!
