Kripke: Yes, we're on track for the overall series arc. Some things were accelerated and other stories took longer to tell than I thought they would, but overall, we're on track. I've always thought that we could tell this story properly in five years. That's what I'm currently aiming — and hoping — for. John Shiban lässt hier ein paar interessante Details durchblicken. Einiges ist bekannt, anderes ist neu.

As promised, more from our exclusive chat with head writer John Shiban. "We have a big two-parter at the end which will answer a lot of questions about Mom, about what the demon was doing and little Sammy's bedroom that fateful evening," he said. "We answer a lot of questions. Of course, we ask a lot more and open up new areas of investigation and mystery and what not, but we will come back to that storyline in a big way." Meanwhile, of the upcoming episodes in the US, John had a LOT to spill... "Season two we're trying to throw some curveballs. We never wanted to rest on our laurels of season one. We've got a ghost story coming up which stars Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica. It was a ghost story but done in a way we've never done it. Very interesting, very dramatic. We take on werewolves, which we've never done, but of course we do it in our own bizarre and supernatural way. You're also going to get a chance to see Sam get laid in the last episode of season two, I'll put it that way. That was fun. We've got another episode where Sam and Dean end up on the set of a horror movie. That's actually very fun. It's a horror movie that's cursed - if you've ever heard the legends that Poltergeist was cursed, there are a number of movies that are 'cursed', people have died mysteriously who were associated with them. So we play with that, which is great, and we're actually shooting some of it at Warner Brothers studio in Los Angeles. Then we get into the boys - they end up going to prison. A haunted prison, take on the lore that's out there. Then we get into our big endgame, a two parter called 'All Hell Breaks Loose', and literally it's that."

'All Hell Breaks Loose'?! Gott, das erinnert mich viel zu sehr an Charmed, auch wenn das ne gute Folge war. Auf der anderen Seite haben die ja schon durchblicken lassen das "the war" in der 3. Staffel beginnt und eine Rolle spielen wird. Gespannt bin ich auf jeden Fall.

Wie war das, Mr. Kripke? Kein Cliffhanger? Ich glaub das erst wenn ich's sehe.

Ich finde die Serie auch klasse und wollte mal wissen wie viele Folgen von der 2. Staffel bis jetzt schon ausgestrahlt wurden.

Ich hab gerade "In My Time of Dying" gesehen und fand die Folge wirklich echt klasse, bin zwar nicht ganz mitgekommen, da ich nur den Anfang der 1. Staffel gesehen habe und es mir zu schwer war an die anderen Folgen zu kommen, aber hab mich trotzdem entschieden einfach die 2. Staffel zu gucken.
Die Folge war echt sehr gut. Vorallem das Ende. Hab ichs nur nicht verstanden oder weiß man wirklich nicht warum ihr Vater am Boden lag?

Neues von der Spoilerfront: 2.20 trägt den Titel What Is and What Should.

Kurz gesagt, Dean wird von einem Dschinn/Djinn angegriffen und in eine alternative Realität versetzt. Er erwacht in einer Wohnung in Lawrence, Kansas (neben einer Frau ) und es scheint so als ob er ein völlig "normales" Leben führt ohne Dämonen und dergleichen. Als Dean seinen Bruder kontaktiert, hält der ihn für betrunken (na ja, Gin und Dschinn klingen wohl doch sehr ähnlich ).

Ähm ja, interessante Storyline.

Könnte sein das die Rückkehr von Jeffrey Dean Morgan hier eine Rolle spielt. Ich mein, das ist nur ne Vermutung, aber es würde Sinn machen falls der Dämon niemals aufgetaucht ist und John und/oder Mary in dieser alternativen Realität nicht tot sind... *shrug* (Daher vielleicht der Titel?) Mal sehen ob man Spatzen nicht auch zum reden bringen kann...

ETA: Okay...sieht so aus als ob Dean herausfindet das seine Mutter wirklich noch am leben ist, und das er sie "besuchen" geht, oder wie auch immer. Keine Ahnung was John angeht, das wollten die Spatzen mir dann doch nicht zwitschern, aber wenn ich das richtg verstanden habe kommen Dean und Sam in dieser "Alternativwelt" nicht besonders gut miteinander aus weil Dean mehr oder weniger ein, ähem, A*sch ist. *sigh*

Keine Ahnung was ich davon halten soll, aber vielleicht doktorn die ja noch ein bisschen am Script rum. Auf der anderen Seite könnte es sehr interessant sein das zu sehen, und ich weiß vieles kommt auf dem Bildschirm anders/besser rüber als auf Papier.

Bezüglich John...ich will ja keine Gerüchte in die Welt setzen, aber es sieht sehr danach aus, als wäre auch er in der Folge. Jedenfalls wurde er anscheinend in Vancouver am Set gesichtet. Es gibt zwar keine verlässlichen Quellen dafür, aber es würde für diese Folge wirklich gut passen. Vor allem weil Kripke meinte, dass man John nicht in einem Flashback, sonder auf andere Art sehen würde

Bezüglich John...ich will ja keine Gerüchte in die Welt setzen, aber es sieht sehr danach aus, als wäre auch er in der Folge. Jedenfalls wurde er anscheinend in Vancouver am Set gesichtet. Es gibt zwar keine verlässlichen Quellen dafür, aber es würde für diese Folge wirklich gut passen.

Keine Ahnung ob die Quellen die gleichen sind, aber ich hab sowas in der Art auch gehört. Nur wollte mir keiner von meinen sonstigen Kontakten bestätigen ob das stimmt. Passen würde es wirklich sehr gut, deshalb bin ich erst darauf gekommen, und da Mary in der Folge ist... mal sehen.

Und hey, das Showbiz lebt schließlich von Gerüchten, also was soll's.

Sam wird mit anderen "Special Kids" in eine Geisterstadt transportiert/teleportiert/was auch immer, wo er Andy und Ava wiedertrifft. Beide haben wohl eine weitere Fähigkeit entwikelt. Zudem trifft Sam dort auch auf "Jake" und "Lily", zwei weitere Kids mit besonderen Fähigkeiten: "Jake" hat übermenschliche Kräfte, "Lily" kann Herzen durch Berührung zum Stillstand bringen.

Jake wurde gesagt das nur einer von ihnen wieder aus der Geisterstadt entkommen würde.

...Ah ja...

Dean ist nicht in der Geisterstadt, sondern (mal wieder ) auf der Suche nach seinem Bruder. Und wenn ich das richtig mitbekommen habe gilt das auch für Ash und Bobby (Bobby! yeah!).

Später wird Dean von Ash kontaktiert. Er hat Neuigkeiten, und zwar große Neuigkeiten die Dean sehr wahrscheinlich auch helfen können rauszufinden wo Sam steckt. Es ginge allerdings noch weit darüber hinaus, weshalb er nicht am Telefon darüber reden will. Dean soll zum Roadhouse kommen.


Ich hoffe die übertreiben es nicht und Teil 2 wird wieder etwas persönlicher - was die Winchesters angeht - aber mir wurde gesagt ich soll abwarten und nicht nörgeln. Oookay.

Ein Interview mit Sera Gamble und es ist, uhm... aufschlussreich.

Das...

Sera Gamble: I can tell you what doesn’t happen. Sam does not ask some nice girl to go steady...On the other hand, Sam isn’t bang-the-random-waitress guy, either. What happens with this girl means something serious to him.

One thing I was clear about from the start was that Sam may be sensitive, but he’s not a wuss. He’s a demon hunter, for God’s sake. My pitch for the concept of the sex scene was basically this: “He totally slams her up against the wall.”

My rough draft of the scene cut away fairly early in the proceedings. You could say I restrained myself. I wasn’t quite sure where “too far” was for our show. I turned in the rough draft, and Eric handed it back to me with notes. I flipped to that page, and in the margin, he’d written “more sex?” I was like, “Yes!” So, yeah, if the final cut doesn’t include sweaty, acrobatic full-frontal male nudity? It’s not ‘cause we didn’t write it in.

(Na ja, mal sehen was von der "full-frontal male nudity" am Ende wirklich durch die Zensur geht... )

...And a lot of questions raised in the Pilot are answered. And, needless to say, many terrible, horrible things happen to Sam and Dean. We put them through the wringer, then take them out only to shove them in the meat grinder.

Oh, also — and I am grinning as I say this — the last five minutes of Part One will have you howling. And when you scream, “No they didn’t!” ... Yes, we did. Waiting for Part Two is going to be pure sweet torture.

Sam is immediately attracted to the lawyer's secretary Madison (guest star Emmanuelle Vaugier) and when it seems as if Madison will be the werewolf's next victim, Sam offers to stay overnight to protect her. Das verstehe ich nun überhaupt nicht. SN hat die gleichen Chancen wie Veronica Mars? Die Einschaltquoten sind bei SN doch viel besser.
Naja, mal sehen, wo das enden wird. Ich wäre ja wirklich überrascht, wenn VM eine 4. Staffel bekommen würde und SN stattdessen gecancelt wird. Aber irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass alles möglich ist. Hat "The CW" wirklich so viele Alternativen, dass sie sich von so vielen Serien trennen können?

So, hier hab ich ein paar sehr ausführlich Spoiler zur Folge 2.20 What Is and What Should. Ich tu es mal hinter Tags, weil's wirklich lang ist. Freu mich schon wahnsinnig auf die Folge.

Dean is on the phone with Sam and is trying to explain to his younger brother that the Djinn attacked me. Sam interprets it as the ‘gin’ attacked. Dean calls Sam a name and repeats himself saying the scary demon creature they were after. He pauses a beat and says that the damn thing put its hands on him and all he knows is that he woke up next to a hot chick.


Sam asks if he means Carmen and Dean’s completely confused. Sam’s getting annoyed and states that Dean’s drunk and he knows it. Dean protests that he so isn’t wasted and tells Sam to quit screwing with him.


Sam tells his brother that its late and Dean just needs to sleep it off, saying he’ll see him tomorrow before hanging up the phone. We get a different angle as he turns the phone off and sighs, turning back to his research. There’s a close up on one of the books as he opens another—it’s a law textbook. *EEK! Sam’s in school!*


INT. Apartment—Living Room—Night


Dean’s searching the unfamiliar apartment, and seriously has no clue where the hell he is. He sees some unopened bills on the table and grabs one off the top. The address reads Carmen Flores, #53 Barker Ave. Lawrence, KS.

Dean’s stunned as he reads the word Lawrence and continues to shuffle through the pile of mail. The next bill he finds stops him cold because it’s addressed to him, as is the next one, and the next one. It’s as if he lives here—wherever here is.

He mutters a ‘what the hell’ and is surprised when Carmen comes into the room, she’s a gorgeous twenty-something, dressed in a short robe. She asks what he’s doing up and Dean stumbles for a good reason, but Carmen interrupts him stammering and asks knowingly if he can’t sleep.

Carmen wraps her arms around Dean’s shoulders and in a sexually persuasive way tells him to come back to bed, and she’ll do her best to help him. Dean pulls away awkwardly and tries to sound casual as he tells her to give him a couple minutes.

Carmen leans in and gives Dean a quick kiss on the lips before heading back into the bedroom and Dean watches her go warily—what is going on? Frantically, Dean starts turning the place upside down for answers. He rushes over to a row of framed photos quickly examining all of them.

There’s a few of him and Carmen on vacation, looking happy and clearly in love and one of Dean looking rather embarrassed in front of a b-day cake. Dean’s got no recollection of any of these memories but it’s the huge photo on another bookshelf that shocks him in disbelief.

He picks it up, then drops it, the frame crashing to the hardwood floor and he backs away stunned and hurries to the door.


Suburban Street-Night Moments Later


Dean’s driving the Impala—cause no matter where he is that car stays! He pulls it to a screeching stop on a residential street, the house he parks in front of is his old childhood home.

Winchester House


Dean knocks, and a light comes on inside. There’s a beat before the door opens and Dean stands there stunned, barely able to speak Mary Winchester is in the doorway, very much alive and she smiles patiently as she asks her son what he’s doing at the house.

Dean reaches out tentatively and touches her shoulder, her hair, her face—he’s totally in shock.


Apartment—Living Room—Night

Dean sits on the couch, visibly lost in thought. Carmen enters the room, hands him a beer. Dean glances down at the label and smiles, telling her that its his favorite and he guess she does know him well.

Carmen says she’s afraid she does and Dean looks up at her, in this life a complete stranger knows him better than he knows himself. Dean states that he and Sam don’t get long and Carmen agrees saying that they are just so different from each other and she doesn’t think they know each other well at all.

Dean asks if everything Sam said about Dean letting him down and the crap he pulled was true. Carmen tells him that he can be…carefree…at times. Dean inquires as to why she puts up with him and Carmen tells him its cause his ass looks great in jeans—Amen, sister…

Dean tells her to be serious and she tells him that deep down Dean’s a good guy, sometimes it’s just hard to see. Dean drinks his beer and determines that he’s going to fix it, and make it up to everybody.

Carmen looks concerned and asks what’s getting into him and Dean says that while it doesn’t make sense he feels like he’s been given a second chance and he’s not going to waste it. Carmen’s about to tell him that he’s right, and he’s making no sense but Dean cuts her off with a spontaneous, impassioned kiss.

He breaks the kiss and tells her he’s been wanting to do that all night. Carmen smiles breathlessly and tells him he’s going to have to hold that thought because she’s got to get ready for work. Dean asks why she has to go now, and Carmen explains that she works night shifts on Thursdays, and she told him that.

Dean grins, angling his head to peek into the open closet as Carmen emerges pulling on a pair of scrubs—he’s overly cheerful as he tells her he’s dating a nurse and that’s so respectable.


Apartment---Living Room—Later


The apartment is dark and lit only by the TV. Dean’s in hog heaven, sprawled on the couch, drinking a beer, feet up on the coffee table. Suddenly out the corner of his eye, he catches a flash of something, a creepy woman disappears down the hallway into the bedroom.

Dean leaps off the couch and enters the bedroom. It’s empty but then a creaking nose comes from inside the walk-in closet. Dean pushes the door open and staggers back—two pale withered corpses, a man and a woman dangle from the clothes rack, their hands bound over their heads with thick rope.

From behind him, Dean hears a low moan and turns to find the creepy woman standing just inches away, blood dripping from her open mouth as she whispers for Dean to help her.

This time Dean sees her face, and recognizes her.
