Der 4. Tag beginnt 18 Monate nach dem 3. Tag. Jack arbeitet nicht mehr für die CTU, sondern beim Verteidigungsministerium und hat eine Affaire mit der Tochter seines Chefs. Doch Erin Driscoll, die neue Leiterin der CTU, bittet Jack um Hilfe, da alles auf einen Terroranschlag hinweist. Währenddessen entdeckt der Hacker Andrew etwas, was er besser nicht hätte sehen sollen und wird von Terroristen bedroht.




4.02 "Day 4: 8:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M."

Jack will alles über Hellers Entführung erfahren und merkt, dass er keine wirklich entscheidende Rolle bei den Ermittlungen spielt. Behrooz muss sich zwischen seiner Loyalität zu seinen Eltern und der Liebe zu seiner Freundin entscheiden, während die Entführer von Heller und seiner Tochter ihre Forderungen im Internet veröffentlichen.




4.03 "Day 4: 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M."

Jack macht Kalil mit Chloes Hilfe ausfindet, aber er muss hilflos mitansehen, wie Andrew gefoltert wird, damit er Informationen preis gibt. Behrooz hat einen Konflikt mit seinen Eltern, da sie Debbie sehen wollen, um ihr Fragen zu stellen und Curtis zieht alles Register bei der Befragung von Hellers Sohn, während Erin immer noch nach Jack sucht.


4.04 "Day 4: 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M."

Jack gibt sich als Bandit aus und nimmt Geiseln, damit er Chloe mehr Zeit für die Satellitenüberwachung beschaffen kann. Diese wendet sich an Edgar, da Erin ihr gegenüber misstrauisch wird. Behrooz entdeckt derweil, dass seine Mutter bis ans Äußerste gehen würde, um das Geheimnis zu bewahren und Heller und Audrey versuchen zu fliehen.

Yes! Comes back this very Jan. 9, and my good friend the calendar tells me that's Sunday, with another piping-hot episode on Monday. As for news, there's a new terrorist in town. Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy) is joining the cast as the leader of an anti-American terrorist organization. Based on what mine eyes have seen in the pilot, I'm expecting to see him getting in cahoots with Shohreh Aghdashloo and Nestor Serrano's characters.

Habe die 3.Staffel vor kurzem auf Englisch sehen können. Und ausserdem einige Folgen der 4.Staffel.

Und bin begeistert.
Ich finde es super das Carlos Bernard und reiko aylesworth auch in der 4. Season wieder mitmachen.
Reiko Aylesworth ab 4x12 "6p.m.-7p.m."(US-Ausstrahlung 07.03.2005) ist wieder mit von der Party ...und immerhin ist sie ja jetzt DEPUTY DIRECTOR der Division...

Langsam wird es ja immer deutlicher, dass Tony & Michelle definitiv wieder zusammen kommen.

Buchanan: If the President is unable to fulfill his duties, Vice President Logan will have to assume office, at least on a temporary basis. Cabinet members will need to be briefed on the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Tony: Yeah, I'll take care of it.
Buchanan: Not all Cabinet members are equal. State and Defense need more detail than, say, Agriculture or Treasury.
Tony: Yeah, I can handle it.
Buchanan: I just want to make sure that the transition is smooth.
Tony: I understand. But uh, I DO know what to do.
Buchanan: Alright. (pause) Tony. I've noticed a little hostility on your part. If it's because of me and Michelle...
Tony: It's none of my business. And as far as the hostility goes, I can promise you, it's over with.
Buchanan: If you say so. (Tony starts to leave) One more thing. I think the world of Michelle. Love working with her. Outside the office, we never got off the ground. She never said why. But it didn't take a genius to figure it out. She cared about you. If you ask me, she still does.
Tony: (looks both confused and embarassed)

Aber irgendwie kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, dass Michelle irgentetwas mit Bill anfangen würe, der Typ ist doch blöd!

Ja, das hoffe ich auch. Bei 24 kann man ja echt nie wissen was passiert. Ich wollte auch eigentlich keine Spoiler lesen, aber irgendwie war ich dann doch zu neugierig. *g*

Wäre echt mal schön, wenigstens ein Pärchen glücklich zu sehen und Tony und Michelle sind doch wirklich das beste, das es dort je gab. Alle anderen haben mich nie wirklich interessiert.

Bitte Jack, das wäre mal mutig. Und Kiefer Sutherland liegt den Autoren ja schon ewig in den Ohren, dass sie Jack sterben lassen sollen um den Zuschauern klarzumachen, dass wirklich alles möglich ist.

Die 4. Staffel finde eh schon nicht mehr so prall, daher ist mir das im Augenblick relativ egal (und ich war wirklich 3 Staffeln lang ein grosser Fan der Serie, und habe mir die Staffeln jeweils an einem Wochenende auf DVD angesehen). Wenn Jack sterben sollte, wäre das die Gelegenheit, das Konzept mal zu überdenken und zu verändern. Eine 5. Staffel, die im Wesentlichen so abläuft wie die vier vorher, wäre nicht gerade wünschenswert.

Da hast du auch wieder recht. Ich hab mich nur so an Jack gewöhnt und es würde zuerst bestimmt merkwürdig sein ohne ihn, aber es kommt auch drauf an, was die Macher dann draus machen. Naja, erst mal abwarten wie Staffel 4 aus geht.

Im neuen TV guide steht, dass nicht 1 Hauptcharakter sterben wird, sondern sogar 2.

So geht es mir auch... ... ich lese auch gar nicht was sonst so passiert, mich interessiert bloß was zwischen Michelle und Tony abläuft... ansonsten gäbe es ja gar keine Überraschugen mehr...

jack glaub ich langsam auch imemr mehr. Dann Kiefer wollte ja schon lange sterben (in der Serie) und irgentwie wäre das zwar anders aber auch ne Möglichkeit frischen Wind rein zu bringen.

Ich les größtenteils auch nur die Spoiler die mit Tony und Michelle zu tun haben. *g* Falls was Negatives passiert, will ich einfach darauf vorbereitet sein, damit es dann vielleicht nicht mehr so schlimm ist. Aber ich hoffe natürlich, dass nichts Schlimmes passiert. Ich hoffe so sehr, dass sie wieder zusammen kommen. Ich will so einen tollen Kuss wie in Staffel 2, ein "Ich liebe Dich" und ein "Ich hab dich vermisst". Hach das wäre schön.

Bei den 2 Toten weiß ich echt nicht wer es sein könnte bzw. Jack könnte ich mir auch vorstellen, aber sonst hab ich keine richtige Idee. Vielleicht Chloe, weil sie ja bald einen Außeneinsatz hat?

Chloe war da, wurde gefeuert, kam wieder zurück - und wird jetzt endgültig gefeuert?

Sie ist zwar nervig, aber mir mit der Zeit irgendwie ans Herz gewachsen. Wäre schade um sie.

Mir ist sie bis jetzt irgendwie relativ gleichgültig.

Soweit ich jetzt näheres gehört hab, wird wohl Paul einer der Toten sein. Außerdem hab ich noch ein paar Spoiler gefunden. Die sind aus dem Fox Forum:

1) Since Paul's condition is worsening, Audrey fears for his life more so. Audrey tries to hold back in letting this get in the way of her and Jack’s relationship but I’ve been told that Jack makes the situation worse again. This is probably referring to what TV Guide posted the other day. She also discusses her feelings about this with her dad (when he retuns) later but apparently ‘discuss’ is too light a word.

2) Tony and Michelle do in fact make up. I’ve been told to expect a kiss before the end of the Season.

3) Palmer blackmails Mike Novick. He’s brought back to help Logan but Jack also needs his help. Despite being released from custody Jack’s pretty much frowned upon from some of the higher ups in the intelligence community so Jack asks Palmer to get him some leverage.
Palmer blackmails Mike Novick about what happened to Lynne. Not only does Jack quickly get access to resources he needs but Palmer suddenly has the attention of the President at all times. Tension forms between Palmer and Novick through the rest of the day. It should also be noted that Palmer is in fact working out of DC.

4) After Marwan is finally captured, he is on his way back to CTU. During the move, Marwan manages to kill 2 CTU Agents. I’ve been told the main agent that dies in this scene will in fact be Curtis. The summary for this was episode 22.

5) Marwan demands the life of Palmer or the launch of the nuke. This will occur at the end of episode 22. He gives them two hours to comply. I know no more on this.

6) Jack secretly investigates his own lead. Apparently the outcome of his investigation may be the launch pad of the nuke. Jack needs some support as it’s his private investigation which leads him to calling in support from Tony.

7) I couldn’t find anything on the Michelle breaking down front other than it happens after she is told that Tony has been severely hurt in the field.

8) Palmer is put in lockdown when Marwan orders his life however he asks for some resources. He investigates the significance of his ‘life’ and how it relates to the attempted war 4 and half years earlier. This I’m sure welcomes the return of Mandy who we’ve all seen pictures of from the set. Apparently by this stage the audience will love Palmer again and he will be back to making noble and honest choices ala Pre-Season 3.

Richard Heller may also be back- again more on this when i know.

Deren Beziehung gebe ich sowieso keine grosse Chance mehr. Schade, waren ein nettes Paar.

Palmer soll sterben, eine Atombombe bedroht die USA - müssen die sich so offensichtlich wiederholen? Etwas geschickter kann man das doch wohl angehen. Wie gesagt, wenn sie das Konzept nicht ändern, sehe ich für die 5. Staffel noch schwärzer als für die 4., die auch schon nicht mehr besonders interessant ist.

Man merkt auf jeden Fall das da noch was ist, da kann ich dir nur zustimmen. Auch die Episodenbeschreibung für Folge 20 weist darauf hin:

April 25th - David Palmer arrives at the White-House and he meets with Vice-President Logan. The Vice-President is unable to fulfill the duties of his Presidency and he needs Palmer to covertly assume control of the Government. Nobody will ever know Palmer is acting as a shadow President and Palmer knows his country needs him because Logan is a mess. President Palmer is briefed on Marwan's current status and the status of the country. At CTU, Bill Buchanan is briefed on Palmer's role. Meanwhile, Audrey goes to the CTU clinic and speaks with Paul Raines. Paul is in bad shape and Audrey becomes very attached to him. Audrey tells Paul that she will go back to Washington D.C. with him where Paul will get the best medical treatment. Audrey says she will get an apartment so she can be with him and Audrey and Paul seem to be growing closer and closer almost as if she wants to forget Jack and start all over with Paul. Meanwhile, Chloe accesses the hard-drive from Sabir's home. She finds an e-mail sent from a Chinese national named Lee Jong. The e-mail is tracked to the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles and Jack and Curtis are dispatched to the Consulate. Meanwhile at CTU, Jen Slater calls and tries to speak with Tony. Michelle answers the phone and speaks with Jen. I don’t have anything on Michelle and Jen’s conversation or Tony and Jen’s conversation but I know that Tony is supposed to act uncomfortable because Michelle is near-bye and Michelle will eventually ask Tony if he is in love with Jen and Tony tells Michelle that he doesn’t love Jen. Meanwhile, Palmer decides to call the Consulate even though it's a little after 2:00 in the morning. Palmer speaks with the Consul-General and tries to have him release Jong. The Consul-General tells Palmer that the process will take hours and Palmer knows he can't wait that long. Palmer speaks with Jack and gives him the go-ahead for a covert operation at the Chinese Consulate. Palmer tells Jack that major diplomatic problems will occur if this mission is failed and Jack fully understands what he must do.

Jack speaks with Tony and asks for the layout of the Consulate. This mission is pure black ops so Tony sneaks off behind all of CTU's back so he can run point for the operation. Tony watches in real-time as Jack infiltrates the Consulate. Jack shoots a couple of guards with non-lethal darts and Tony guides Jack through the consulate and into Lee Jong's room. Jack enters Jong's room and knocks him out and makes his way out of the building with Jong. The Consulate guards realize the compound has been breached and they close in on Jack. Curtis and another agent enter and there is a gunfight. In the chaos the Consul-General is shot and killed, this presents a massive Diplomatic situation. Jack's problems are only getting started because Jong was shot during the shootout and he will die unless Jack can get him medical attention. Jack and Curtis move Jong to the CTU van as the Consulate guards shoot at them. In the van, Jack speaks with Jong through an interpreter and asks him about his connection to Marwan. Jong doesn't deny knowing Marwan and he makes a series of demands. Jack calls Palmer and notifies him of Jong's demands and Palmer gives his consent. Jong agrees to provide information on Marwan's operation if CTU can save his life and keep him safe. This will be difficult because Jong is bleeding internally and he will die in minutes unless the CTU medical staff can save him.

Meanwhile at CTU, Marwan's tape from the nightclub is played. The tape is damaged but Edgar is able to salvage some footage. Marwan reveals that a strike will occur in a few hours on the East Coast and he proclaims that America will awaken to a new world. Meanwhile, Buchanan finds out that Tony was covertly running point for Jack's operation at the Consulate and he gets pissed. Meanwhile, someone from the Chinese Consulate calls Palmer and the man confronts Palmer about his possible involvement. The man promises a full investigation and Palmer gets a little worried about the possible blowback but he plays it cool and goes on leading the country. At the CTU clinic, Paul takes a turn for the worst and he is bleeding internally. The Doctor comes in and starts to help Paul but then Jack arrives with the dying Jong. The Doctor says he can't work on both of the men and he tells Jack that Paul will die unless he receives immediate help. Jack takes his gun out and orders the Doctor to save Jong's life. Audrey screams as she sees Jack's dark-side. The Doctor starts to work on Jong and then suddenly Paul flat-lines. Jack and Curtis try to resuscitate him but it's to late, Paul is dead.

Da freu ich mich schon drauf, denn auch wenn man als Zuschauer weiß, dass zw. Tony und Jen nicht viel ist, ist es doch besser es aus seinem Munde zu hören.

Das mit dem Zusammnbruch von Michelle wundert mich auch, aber erst mal schauen, wie es jetzt weiter geht bevor das passiert.

Das mit Paul klingt echt heftig, bin gespannt wie das Verhältnis zw. Jack und Audrey danach sein wird.
